care instructions: maker recommends placing your doormat in an area with lower traffic and they must be kept in a dry place such as an enclosed porch, outer hallway , garage, etc. Things like blowing rain and wet weather will cause the bristles of coir to shed. They are 100% natural fibers from the husks of coconuts and once wet the print can appear faded or smeared due to loss of fibers. To clean, just give it a good little shake.
